EVENT STARTS IN

Pattern formation phenomena are ubiquitous in animate and inanimate matter. Existing pattern-formation methodologies have successfully been applied to simple contexts of natural phenomena and technology, but often fall short of explaining observed behaviors in more complex situations. As a consequence, new questions have arisen that call for further development of both theoretical and experimental methodologies. The workshop aims to address cutting-edge advances in a wide range of research fields where pattern formation phenomena play or are expected to play essential roles, focusing on common threads that go across different research areas, encouraging cross-fertilization, and highlighting new outstanding open questions.
